The condo is a 3rd floor penthouse with over 1540' of living space with 2 bedrooms & 2 baths, living room, dining room, kitchen & large balcony overlooking Banderas Bay. Located in the "El Anclote" Condominium development of 90 units in 5 buildings, there is a very large swimming pool, hot tub, tennis courts & fitness center on site; just use the private skybridge to walk across the street to the beach, restaurants and local shopping. "El Anclote" is not a hotel; the condominiums are privately owned by individuals from all over the world, with rental services provided by the management for owners who wish to maximize their investment. 

Punta Mita is famous for an abundance of water sports – surfing, sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, deep sea fishing  and whale watching every January through March during their annual migration to the warm waters of Banderas Bay.

The fine white sand beach slopes gently and is great for swimming and  boogie boarding (for those who aren’t quite ready to take up their surfboard!)  Punta Mita is well known as a surfing destination and it’s a common sight to see someone getting their first surfing lesson here from one of the local instructors.

The Living Room

The living room features a high vaulted ceiling, soft lighting and sliding glass doors that open on to the balcony.  It is comfortably furnished in Mexican style with plenty of casual seating and a sofa that opens to a queen size bed.

The armoire holds a television with satellite TV & music channels; plus books, magazines and a Monopoly game for times when you’d just like to relax.

Open the drapes to the view of the bay, let the breezes in and nestle into the comfy sofa with a good book – enjoy!

The master bath shown is private to this bedroom and has a large shower. All towels and linens are provided and large closets with full mirror doors offer plenty of storage.

Great for an “all over” tan! Full size table, tilt umbrella & comfy “rocker” chairs make it easy to relax for afternoon drinks or card games. 

You also have an excellent view of the pool & landscaped grounds below.

Take the skybridge across the street, walk a few feet down the brick path in the left photo, and you are there, ready for sun, sand and  Banderas Bay.

By plane/car  – It’s best to fly directly into Puerto Vallarta, which is an international airport, so you can go through immigration/customs there instead of Mexico City.  The airport is about ½ hour drive south of Punta Mita on Rt. 200.  This is a 4-lane highway.  If you rent a car at the airport, take Rt. 200 North to the Punta Mita exit, which is clearly marked.  Stay on that road until the end, then make a left and go 2 blocks.  “El Anclote” is on the left. You can’t miss it.

There is also bus service and taxi service available at the airport.  Taxis hired in the airport are much more expensive than taxis hired just outside the airport – about $50.  Fares are negotiable before you get in.

Rates are not on a per person basis; the apartment may be occupied by up to 6 adults at the rates quoted below.
All rentals are subject to availability of space.
50% deposit is required with your reservation, balance payable in full no later than 3 weeks prior to use.  Non payment of balance due as scheduled may result in the cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of deposit.
Cancellations of reservations must be made 30 days before arrival date or forfeiture of deposit may result.
Payment may be made by major credit card, personal check, traveler’s checks, money order or cash.  Please do not send cash by mail.
Rates and payments are US dollars only.
All rentals are made to principal only.  Apartment may not be sublet at any time.
Principal accepts all responsibility for any damages that occur or losses of apartment furnishings or other property while apartment is rented to him.
A security deposit may be required before occupancy.
