Casa
BT is a 2-plus bedroom, 4 bath gem of a home located in the secure gated
community of Playacar. The location is perfect--just a minute's walk to
our beautiful beach and a 10-minute walk to the charming town of Playa
del Carmen. There are two bedrooms, each with queen bed and private bath,
and a cozy living room-kitchen. Additonal sleeping space for older children
or teenagers is provided by bunkbeds in a separate area with its own bath.
The spacious master suite features a breezy terrace where you can relax
in your hammock and enjoy views of lush greenery and the turquoise Caribbean.
There are many lovely terraces, patios, and garden areas for relaxing and
socializing. |
| Amenities
include fully equipped kitchen--including microwave, blender, coffee maker
and toaster oven, washer/dryer, and satellite TV. All rooms are cooled
by ceiling fans and the ocean breeze. Drinking water, bed linens, and towels
are provided. Maid service is provided three days a week or more by arrangement.
The
house has a jewel-like swimming pool which is shared with our neighboring
home, Casa CL (when it is rented). Designed as a cenote (ceh-NO-tay)--a
natural freshwater pool, it features two waterfalls and two shallow play
pools. The area is planted with lush tropical trees and shrubs, including
hibiscus, frangi-pani, birds of paradise, and a variety of palms.
The
area offers great opportunities for recreation and exploration, including
the nearby Robert Von Hagge championship golf course in Playacar and the
ancient ruins of Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza. The island of Cozumel is
just a 35-minute ferry ride from the nearby dock. Cancun is a 45-minute
drive away. |

The
living-dining-kitchen area features comfortable built-in sofas and entertainment
center. It is painted in sunset and sherbet tones and decorated with Mexican
art and crafts.
The
charming kitchenette has all the amenities you could want: full-size stove
and fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, and water cooler.
Dining table seats 4-6.
The
master suite (known as "Conejito" or the "Bunny Room") features a spacious
bedroom with stained glass windows and overlooks the pool. You can see
the ocean from the spacious terrace. The tiled bathroom has a large tub
and shower. |

second bedroom ("Artista" or the "Artist's Room") has a high church-like
ceiling and colored glass window. It is painted in cheerful colors and
decorated with paintings and prints. It has a beautiful tiled bathroom
with shower.
From
the rooftop terrace you can see the blue Caribbean, Cozumel Island, and
beyond.
The
pool is shared by the owners other home next door. |

security deposit, refundable following inspection, return of keys, and

Cancellations
and Refunds
Refunds
(less $200 handling charge) will be given if notice is given at least 30
days prior to occupancy.
Deposits
A
20% deposit is required to hold the property for rental. Balance and security
deposit due 30 days prior to occupancy (45 days prior to Holiday rentals).
