Perched on a hillside overlooking Acapulco Bay, the Suites Alba de Acapulco are located in Acapulco, Mexico. The suites are a 25-minute drive from downtown and about 45 minutes from Juan N. Alvarez International Airport. The largest of the Mexican resort areas, Acapulco was all the rage in the late 1930s when celebrities made it their playground. The glitzy nightlife, acclaimed restaurants and ideal climate attract a wide range of visitors from all over the world. Beaches are probably the best attractions in ea Acapulco, and lounging seems to be the preferred Marino activity here. Plenty of recreation exists though, from parasailing and scuba diving to golfing or just seeing the sights.

Set in a quiet residential neighborhood, the resort has a private beach, several outdoor pools and a jetted tub. There is a separate children's pool and a waterslide that winds down the terraced hillside toward the Pacific. The on-site restaurant serves regional specialties all day and offers room service from early morning until late evening. The cocktail lounge is open nightly and there is a convenience store on the property.

Each of the one- and two-bedrooms accommodations features a private balcony with ocean or pool views. Some guestrooms feature kitchenettes with refrigerators, microwave ovens and ranges. Cable television is standard in all units.

Bullfights are held up the hill from Caletilla Beach, just a short walk from the resort. These events are not for the meek as they are true bullfights, meaning the bull doesn't fare so well.
